One ERP and CRM for Two UK Stone Retailers
Stone Deals and Travertine Store share one warehouse in London and now run orders, square-metre stock, dispatch and pricing from the same system.
Problem
Stone Deals and Travertine Store sell travertine and marble tile from the same London warehouse, but ran as two disconnected businesses. Stock one brand allocated to an order was invisible to the other team, so the numbers drifted apart over time.
Pricing changed by batch, finish and slab size, so every quote was built by hand in its own spreadsheet. Checking an order's status meant digging through email threads.
Solution
We built one back-office system for both brands on a shared database. Stock is tracked in square metres per batch instead of plain units, and order intake, pricing and dispatch now run through one workflow. Customer-facing documents still carry each brand's own logo.
- Order intake by batch, finish and slab size
- One shared square-metre stock ledger for both retailers
- Dispatch notes generated straight from the order record
- Customer communication history attached to each order
Result
Stock allocated to one brand now shows as unavailable to the other, since both read the same ledger. Order status lives on one screen, and dispatch notes come straight from the order record instead of being typed by hand.
